New Year is a time for looking back and reviewing the events of the past 12 months – and that goes for blogs too.
2009 was the first full year of Lateral Action, and we’d like to say a big thank you to all our readers, guest writers and interviewees for helping us to make it a rich and varied one.
So here are the highlights of the blog from the past year, as determined by a complex algorithm involving the number of comments, links, pageviews, Tweets, and raisins in the Christmas cake at Lateral Action Towers.
Pour yourself a glass of sherry and enjoy! 🙂

Great list of articles – best wishes for 2010!

Thanks Mark – and for your great contribution to our list.

Thanks for the welcome links. I missed some of these and it’s great to be able to bookmark and save them. I have to discipline myself to take time from frantically active pace of IM and spend some time each day learning more. It’s so basic, but I get caught up in “doing things to make money” and not enough time studying my craft. I wouldn’t make half the silly mistakes and blunders if I spent more time learning.

Hey Mark,
What I like most about this site is, although it’s geared toward creativity, it makes my logical brain work overtime to soak in all the information goodness. Perfect right brain / left brain immersion.
Regards,
Shane

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the list. Now I have homework for the New Years Eve.
Also, on your complex algorithm, the only part I understood was the “raisins in the Christmas cake at the Lateral Action Towers.” What was that about comments, links, tweets etc.. Those were confusing 😉
Have fun and a fantastic 2010
Best,
Rajesh

Mark thanks for your posts.
Me and my left brain just want to say Thank You.
Mark says
Thanks guys.
@ Steve – Yes, when I look back it’s often been a struggle to prioritise learning in the midsto of urgent demands, but it has proved to be one of the most consistently valuable investments of my time.
@ Shane @ Nahum – Left-brain creativity rocks! 🙂
@ Raj – They’re special ingredients in a traditional British Christmas pudding. 😉
