Regular Lateral Action readers will know I’m a huge fan of Steven Pressfield’s approach to overcoming Resistance and getting on with your biggest creative challenges, as described in the text and audio interviews he gave us earlier this year, and more fully in his classic book.
Well today and tomorrow, you have no excuse for procrastinating any longer – Steve is making The War of Art available to download at the absurdly low price of $1.99, but only until the close of business on Thursday 21st October. EDIT: The special offer has now closed, but if you weigh up the benefits of of getting past Resistance and cracking your creative challenges, the book is still invaluable at the regular price.
I’ve already got a well-thumbed copy of the paperback on my bookshelf, but I’ve got myself a pdf copy as well, so that I can search it for quotations (I tend to quote it a lot).
To grab your copy of The War of Art hop over to the Fast Pencil site where you can choose between Kindle, iPad or Nook versions of the book, or a PDF or EPUB.
And tell your friends… by tomorrow! Once they’ve read the book, they’ll thank you.

Thanks for the recommendation. It's a great price, so I followed you over and bought the download. Have to say the site was a bit of a nightmare, took me about 10 minutes to register and do my order about 3 times before it worked! Am looking forward to delving into the book though.
My pleasure, I agree it would be rude not to at that price. :-)
Thanks for sharing this offer Mark. I will be reading it but also passing it with glee to my lovely but workaholic creative boyfriend.

My pleasure. And I always say if you're going to be a workaholic, it's better to be a creative workaholic. ;-)
I see no reason why I shouldn't jump on this if it has the Mark seal of approval. By the way, I am still following your creative entrepreneur e-course and I am enjoying it immensely!
Thanks Steven, very glad to hear it!
Any reason why it's 9.99 instead of 1.99? Does it depend on which country? Even when I go to checkout, it remains 9.99. : (
As I said in the post (dated October 2010) it was a special offer for two days only, and has now closed.
Oh haha, I'm a year out! Silly me.
No worries. :-)
