If you want to know how creativity (and the business of creativity) really works, you need to look at the examples of people who are engaged with it day in, day out. That’s why we feature so many case examples and interviews with great creators at Lateral Action. And now one of our interviewees and guest writers, John T. Unger, has launched a fabulous new source of inspiration for professional artists and creatives: Art Heroes Radio.

The site features audio interviews and the occasional video with professional artists and entrepreneurs including Hugh MacLeod, Austin Kleon and Chris Guillebeau; as well as conversations with art business professionals on the nitty gritty of making a living as an artist, such as pricing and licensing your artwork, artists’ rights and the law, talking to buyers at shows, and selling art via mailing lists, Twitter or the radio.

If you’re a professional artist, you’ll definitely want to tune in to Art Heroes Radio. Even if you’re not a fine artist, there’s a wealth of advice here about creativity, entrepreneurship and marketing that should make it well worth your time.
