An invitation to 21st Century Creatives.
As I said in my email, on Season 6 of the podcast I want to feature stories of creators who were seriously disrupted and challenged by the pandemic, but who dug deep and reinvented themselves in some way.
Because these are creatives who have discovered some really important principles about how to survive and thrive whatever the 21st century throws at us.
So, if the following description sounds like you, then I want to hear your story, so we can talk about maybe featuring you in Season 6.
Does this sound like you?
This is the ideal guest profile for Season 6:
You are a creative professional, meaning you work in the arts, the creative and media industries, or as a creative entrepreneur.
Your creative work is at a professional standard, and you very likely earn your living from it.
Your work has been significantly disrupted by the pandemic.
May be it has affected your ability to do your usual work.
Maybe it has stopped you from bringing your work to market
Maybe it has affected your ability to earn a living – for example, your business was prevented from trading, you lost your job, or your freelance work dried up.
Maybe you experienced all of the above.
And this is the crucial part: in the face of the disruption, you rose to the challenge and reinvented yourself in some big way, by doing something radically different, that helped you not only survive the disruption, but thrive and come out in a better place on the other side.
Maybe you changed what you do.
Maybe you changed how you do it.
Maybe you changed where you do it.
Maybe you changed who you do it with or for.
Maybe you launched a new venture or stepped into a new role.
And the final part – you achieved a significant success as a result of your new approach.
Maybe you created a new type of work.
Maybe you finally completed a dream project.
Maybe you found new ways to make money.
Maybe you achieved some other professional goal that is important to you.
So this is what I’m looking for:
- Achievement as a result of the reinvention
