Mark, your extensively researched article on networking for creatives is excellent. It is like a well crafted multi tier cake for a royal wedding where the bride and the groom are impatiently waiting to savour it! For fear of risking privacy, mostly fuelled by the print media, I had kept myself away from these networks. Now, you have made it irresistible for me to visit at least some of them, especially Behance, DeviantArt, Shapeshifters and Ning. More when I have gained first-hand experience. Its really hard that you find a comfortable and reliable platform to meet new and existing entrepreneurs from all over the world and gain vast knowledge and you can even be in touch with the experienced fellows so to skip the big mistakes which are usual about a field. @ lela – I think it’s good to explore lots of sites, and then settle on 2 or 3 that work best for you. Otherwise you spread yourself too thin and it’s impossible to get to know the community properly.
