@ lela – I think it’s good to explore lots of sites, and then settle on 2 or 3 that work best for you. Otherwise you spread yourself too thin and it’s impossible to get to know the community properly.

A Global Issues person, active involvement with ourhumanityinthebalance.org which is dedicated to a new approach for dealing with Genocide.
A Scot, living in South Island, New Zealand, it would seem that I have no like minds around me but who knows? I live in hope of future networking with a few. I’m all for the concept of Lateral Action – read about as a 1st today.

For art and design is it best to go on as many social networking sites you can or just choose the best two or three for you?

I am starting to branch out from being a loner. You R right to say that you really have to network. You really need to network. Else no one really knows what you do. Its just the most basic way to get the word out. Not typically what I do but its like water to a plant.
