Good recommended reading. Another interesting piece to read is the Harvard Business School’s findings on persistence in entrepreneurship.

sometimes we forget that creative careers aren’t about lucky breaks, but by weathering the storms, knuckling down in the bad times and working on our passions to create our own opportunities.

I think this is a very exciting time for creative entrepreneurs and start up businesses because no one can afford to be complacent in tried and tested methods. Who knows what strokes of genius can be found in the current climate?

Excellent post, and full of info I can use right now! I loved reading the older links about the power of habit and persistence (I’m working on an eBook about that sort of thing called “How to Harness a Hobgoblin”). I love this blog.

Thank you for the links to quality reading material (and thinking material!); I can see what I’ll be doing the rest of this morning!

I find the current trend toward rethinking things very exciting. It’s not like this has never happened before, but it’s definitely a wave worth riding.

Hopefully each of us can find ways to make a few waves ourselves!
